Don't miss the next installment of Black, White and Read All Over, a family lecture series held this Sunday, April 10th in the lecture hall at the Carnegie Main Library.  This event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. and will feature a talk by award-winning author Cornelia Funke.  Perhaps best known for penning works of fantasy such as the Inkheart trilogy or Dragon Rider, Funke's talk will feature stories of her life and craft. It may also include a brief reading from her recently published book Reckless. This spooky adaptation of traditional fairytales looks absolutely terrifying and will definitely make it on my official Summer Reading List.  Check out the book trailer below, and then go online and purchase tickets to see the author live this Sunday in Oakland.
