Kar-Ing Productions Presents...

Karen Hathaway and Ing Kalchthaler (formerly from Bethel Park Library and now both at Shaler North Hills Library) brought their wonderful puppet show to the Brentwood Library for the second year in a row. Last year, their show was taken county-wide to both libraries and schools to promote the important topic of bullying. This year's production, "Between A Rock and a Hard Place" focused on a pebble named Cole with a message of how to be true to yourself and find your own place in the world.

The script was entirely written by Ing and the puppets were created by Karen from recycled materials such as as lamp shades and old shoes! With characters like Cole, Chrystal, Ruby, Midas, Brock the Boulder and Milton the Volcano (BURP!! -- definitely the kids' favorite!), it was an awesome show with tons of humor, amazing voices, lots of laughs and a great message...it's important to just be yourself no matter what age you are (click on picture for more photos!).

Thank you, Ing and Karen, for bring your talents and love of children and puppets to Brentwood once again! For puppet show information and affordable pricing, call Ing or Karen at the SNHL at 412-486-0211.
