48 Hours - 39 Clues Family Scavenger Hunt

We are in the process of restructuring our Children's Department at the Shaler Library and it has been a very interesting and rewarding time, so far.
One of our program that sparked a lot of interest was our 48 Hours - 39 Clues Family Scavenger Hunt.

Here is the description from our program flyer:
48 HOURS – 39 CLUES FAMILY SCAVENGER HUNT!
You have forty-eight hours to complete this wacky scavenger hunt that may take you to places you have never been before! Meet at the Library on Friday night to get the challenge and meet back on Sunday evening to show us what you found! There is a $5.00 registration fee per family which will go toward the CASH PRIZES! The more families who register, the more the prize money! Guaranteed minimum of $50 to the First Place team, $25 to the Second Place team, but the winnings could be more! Tell your friends! More details will be provided when you register.
Clue pick up: Friday, June 19 at 7:00 pm
Wrap-up party and the awarding of prizes: Sunday, June 21 at 7:00 pm
We were very surprised and pleased with the response. We knew it might be tough, given that it was Father's Day weekend, but this worked to our advantage in some ways. We had at least five dads specifically say this was the best Father's Day ever.
Fifty-one families picked up clue sheets on Friday night. Here's what they had to find.
Three families actually met me at the Perry Como statue on Saturday night!
We had plane tickets as far away as Hyderabad, India.
Most of all, we had many happy families. Twenty-eight families completed the hunt, but we heard from many who didn't and they said that really loved just doing it, hanging out with their family and going all over the place to complete the tasks.
Unexpectedly, it was great PR for the library as families called other families to ask them to borrow items from the list. We have had several new families now express an interest in our programs. I will be posting pictures soon but here are a few!
First prize ended up being $150 for first, $75 for second and $30 for third.
