Libraries in the News

I was searching for current library news and I have two questions for you:
(check out the articles that formulated these questions)

Should children’s library cards have limits?

Do Christmas trees have a place in the library?

Good questions, Laurren! I think children's library cards should have some limits, until the child learns about ways of the library - that whole responsibility thing. But I think the card's limits should be flexible (of course!) and adjust with age.

As far as the christmas trees...that's a tough one...and I'm not sure I have any real insight on it...But it's a good point to think about!

I do think Christmas trees have a place in the library, since they have pagan origins and are not really affiliated with a specific religion.
